I had to go to the dentist today to get a cavity filled. My dentist was very kind, but I'm a giant wuss, so I was very nervous. It wasn't bad at all, but my left cheek and lip, even my left nose nostril were numb by the time we were done. I couldn't smile, pucker my lips or even flare my nose. (Go ahead, make funny jokes. I know I'm going to get them from some of you...) The hardest part is trying to rub my lips together to spread my vaseline. My top lip only moves one way right now. Not cool.

Believe it or not but I was smiling as hard as I could... My next step is to get my wisdom teeth out. I wonder if I'll be able to smile at all then.

It wasn't until pretty late that night, maybe 9:30 or 10 before I started feeling my face a bit at a time. I was fine by the time I woke up in the morning though.
