- Thursday I had my wisdom teeth removed. Not fun... I was really more nervous about the anesthesia than I was the actual surgery. Plus, I had been feeling ill, and was afraid the doctor would tell me I was too sick to have my teeth removed. But luckily, my visiting teachers came by the night before and when Jaime offered a prayer on my behalf, I knew I would be okay.
- Friday, I allowed two visitors to come cheer me up. First my Aunt Mar came with soup, mashed potatoes, and tulips. It was so sweet of her to stop by during her busy day, especially when she herself is not feeling well. She also brought me the movie "To Catch a Thief" (super cute, by the way...plus, the countryside scenery had me drooling--or was that the surgery??)
Adam also came by that night. He brought me some daisies and we watched "Batman Begins".
- Saturday afternoon I was so stir-crazy. My mouth was still very sore, but I just couldn't take another moment in the house. So Adam picked me up and took me to downtown Fort Worth where we wandered around and found the Water Gardens. We had a fabulous time talking and taking in the scenery even though it was pretty chilly. I got some great shots.
Can you guess which one is my favorite?
- Sunday after church Adam came over so I made him my famous pork chops and mashed potatoes and he braved my work-in-progress blackberry cobbler, which actually turned out very well this time. (I found a recipe that I keep messing with until I think it's become "true" cobbler...)
Maybe I should get my wisdom teeth taken out more often... I've never been so spoiled!!

glad to hear you are doing well and have some good company! : )
This is my first comment on a blog. I hope you are feeling better and you can show everyone your pretty smile soon!
wow! A venture out on Saturday, good for you.
I don't have to guess which pic is your fav... :)
So glad you are doing better and it was fun to come and see you!
Love you,
Aunt Mar~
I'm glad you are doing well. Pretty flowers and great shots of the water gardens. I love that spot in Ft. Worth!
So... This is DEFINITELY not what Adam looked like in my dream.
Also- he kind of reminds me of Mr. Simpson...
Sounds like things are going good for you. All I got when i had my wisdom teeth pulled was a swollen face and lots of pain. My brother Kevin and I had it done at the same time and they said if you were nervous going into it you may wake up crying, if not you'll wake up laughing. Well I woke up and cried and Kevin started laughing at me so that answered that. Did you wake up laughing or crying or are we Chesworths just weird?
Anything new to say?
