So it is 2:23 in the morning. I guess this makes it Thursday, two days before my wedding.
I am soooo tired. And stressed. I plan on knocking myself out with some benadryl before taking off for Utah tomorrow. I'll get at least 2 hours of sleep on the plane. Of course I've never traveled with someone I really care about before. I am usually packed between strangers. I hope Adam doesn't mind if I doze off. Hopefully he will have plenty of things to do.
I am glad we are winding down. We are going to have such a great wedding. I know I am meant to be with Adam and I cannot wait to covenant with him and Heavenly Father in the temple on Saturday. I hope we will be receptive to the Spirit and not focused on the logistics of the day or anything else that may be distracting us.
I feel so blessed by the amount of family who wish to attend the wedding. I am also grateful to those who have been able to sacrifice either their time or money or both to make our wedding day special.
I do want to say a special thank you to those women who came to my bridal shower. I meant to get a post for that and have been just too busy. I loved all the gifts I received. They were fun, thoughtful, and very needed. I do want to single out the gift from Sister Hall.
It is amazing. She blew up the picture Adam and I sent in our announcement and wrote me a story that she printed on velum, laid on top of the picture, and put it in a gorgeous frame. I don't know if Sister Hall wants me to repeat the story on my blog, but I will say it was so wonderfully heartfelt and sweet. I could barely get through it as I read it to the women at the shower. I had to choke back the tears. Even Adam teared up when I read it to him. :) It is a wonderful reminder of the amazing blessings Heavenly Father has given me because he loves me. Of course the point of the story is that Adam is that amazing gift... :) I love it so much. Thank you Sister Hall!!
Alrighty... I think I am all packed for tomorrow. Or later this morning I should say. Whatever I have forgotten will have to be replaced in Utah. I have checked and triple checked the irreplaceable items. I would die if I got all the way to Utah only to discover I'd left something vital like a temple recommend!!
Good night to all. The next time I blog I will be a happily married woman!!!!
