September seems to be filled with birthdays. Today is my puppy's second birthday. Bring on the terrible two's!! (Actually please don't, Maia is crazy enough already!)
My dogs are the closest things I have to children, so I try to get them a little something special for their birthdays. Of course, I have to get something for the other dog too. They just don't seem to understand the concept of birthday gifts for the birthday girl.
I got them some Greenies and Pigs' Ears, which are special treats they get rarely. They were pretty excited.

Hmmm, pig's ears...glad they went to Maia for her b-day and did not come my way on mine.
