Just a little update

So this week hasn't been anything new or out of the ordinary. I've been busy with work. I still love my new banking center though.

There really weren't any activities for the singles this week. There's always FHE, but they were doing it Olympic style. I didn't know what that meant, but it sounded a little intimidating, so I skipped it. So I find myself adventureless this week, and I am actually a little sad. I can't wait for Sunday so I can go to the singles' ward again. Isn't that odd? Me--excited and looking forward to and missing hanging out with a bunch of single people...

On a fun note, I got a new bluetooth headset for my phone. I have the Sony Ericsson Walkman (which I LOVE) and the headset will let me listen to my music without wires connecting me to my phone. It will let me interrupt songs to take calls. I was pretty happy. This means I have an extra bluetooth headset that I am willing to give away for free if your name starts with K-A-R-E-N. (That is if she wants it and will answer her phone so I can tell her she can have it.) All others who wish for a free headset will have to wait to see if Karen wants it first.

In the form of an apology and a congratulations (see, I can multi-task), I want to say Happy Birthday and so sorry I missed it to my cousin Nathan. Nathan is the most awesome teenage boy I have ever met. They don't make them better than Nathan. He is a great example of kindness, thoughtfulness, and quiet intelligence. He's super smart, but doesn't feel he has to shout it out to the world. Nathan, I admire you so much, and I am so sorry I missed your birthday. I hope it was as awesome as you are. (We'll just ignore the fact that I am now officially old since you are 18...) Isn't Nathan so handsome? I suspect he leaves a trail of twitterpated girls behind him and doesn't even know it...

Hey-- the new headset sounds way cool.
And I am always open to free stuff. Especially cool free stuff that is bluetooth related.
I'm sorry that you skipped out on FHE-- I bet it was fun, but also a little intimidating.
Were you in young women's with me when we did the food olympic thing? All I remember is choosing not to chug rootbeer or down a ketchup/mustard/hot dog mix.
Anyway, let me know how church goes for you on Sunday, and go to FHE/Institute!
Love you, Mar!

So what's happening in the single's ward now? I am excited to hear more of your adventures!
Thanks for the sweet tribute to Nathan. His birthday was so crazy that we really didn't have one celebration, we just tried to fit in presents when we could and banana cream pie when possible. He did ask me to throw a couple of impromptu parties around the time of his b-day, with his band friends. I have found that those are even easier to throw, not too much ime to stress, no one expects anything, hee, hee. I told him I just need at least thirty minutes notice so I can go out and buy ice cream or something! :)
Love you!
