On Wednesday I got to spend the day with a very cherished friend of mine named JJ. I've known her since I was six, and even though we occasionally lose contact (sometimes for a couple of years...) we always pick up right where we left off. We get each other.
I got to help her along with another friend of hers to pick out wedding dresses. JJ is planning on getting married in September. We had so much fun, and I think we might have found the dress.
JJ's friend Dana brought her son Caleb who is about 18 months. I don't think he was aware of what was going on but he was so sweet and cute. While we were searching the first boutique, he kept calling out, "I do!" I asked Dana if she thought she might've started Caleb's training a little young. It was adorable.
I am thankful for the time I got to spend with JJ. I am grateful she would let me participate in the planning of her wedding. I am grateful that she seems to have found a guy who gets her too.

Sounds like you had so much fun with JJ, I am happy that you had the opportunity to go out with her.
And you didn't tell her to run for the hills? Good girl!
You are a good friend.
